What We Do

What We Do

The Maharashtra State Gazetted Medical Officers (Group A) Association is dedicated to representing the needs, rights, and aspirations of its members across the state. Beyond being a voice for medical officers, we are a driving force behind strengthening Maharashtra’s public health system and ensuring that those who serve are empowered, respected, and protected.

Statewide Representation

Our association includes medical officers serving in primary health centers, rural and district hospitals, municipal setups, and government departments. We unite doctors from all corners of Maharashtra under one mission — service with dignity.

Policy Advocacy & Officer Welfare

We regularly engage with government departments and policy makers to represent issues related to promotions, postings, working conditions, and fair treatment. Our goal is to ensure officers receive what they rightfully deserve.

Support for Professional Development

We promote continuous medical education, leadership building, and career advancement through seminars, workshops, and collaboration with medical institutions.

Voice During Emergencies and Campaigns

From pandemic response to health awareness drives, our members have always stood at the forefront. The association coordinates with authorities during crises and promotes officer safety and effectiveness.

Building Unity and Transparency

We encourage unity among officers and foster transparent communication within the system. Through newsletters, events, and meetings, we ensure that officers remain informed and engaged.

  • Promotion delays and cadre restructuring
  • Shortage of staff and essential resources
  • Unjust or inconsistent transfer orders
  • Delay in service orders and GRs
